Bioshock 2 and Max Payne 3 delayed
Take Two pushes them back to 2010
Take Two has announced that both Bioshock 2 and Max Payne 3 are now scheduled for 2010. Both games were originally planned for this year, Bioshock in November and Max Payne 3 in the winter of 2009 . According to Take Two, this decision comes as a need to invest additional time in order to ensure that these titles deliver what its fans deserve.
The delay might have more reasons than Take Two is saying, and it might have something to do with the fact that some good titles, which will be a mean competition, are scheduled for the Christmas season. The list doesn't just stop at Bioshock 2 and Max Payne 3, as Take Two announced that Mafia 2 and Red Dead Redemption will also be shifted to the next fiscal year.
During the conference call, it was only noted that all of these games should be released in the first half of 2010, and that the development delay is not console specific. We honestly hope that it has something to do with DirectX 11 and its implementation in these games.
