It might seem as if the Starcraft 2 beta phase is drawing near as some users have noticed a small SC2 Beta icon in their Battle.net profiles together with “Beta Profile Settings” text changing to bright green.

Although Blizzard hasn’t confirmed a release date yet, many are hoping that this means the beta is soon to come.

Be it as it may, we’ll keep an eye out for any potential developments, as this game will surely mark a new era for Starcraft fans, myself included.
