Marvel vs. Capcom 2 headed to XBLA
Enhancements expected for 360 version
In an unexpected announcement, Capcom has announced that shortly it will be releasing Marvel vs. Capcom for Xbox 360. In 2002 Capcom released the title for the original Xbox that featured all of the features from the arcade version.
The game itself features over fifty playable characters from both the Marvel and Capcom universes. The game itself offers an innovative three-on-three tag team mode, which was quite popular when the game was released.
Our sources tell us that the Xbox Live Arcade version will feature upgraded 1080 graphics, which are said to make the game really pop. Like the original Xbox version, the XBLA version is expected to offer all of the same modes of play and the fifty playable characters, as well. Our sources tell us that you can look for it to arrive in July at a cost of 1,200 Microsoft points.
