Gazillion Entertainment, a new multiplayer game publisher with venture capital backing, has inked a multi-year agreement with Marvel to develop massively multiplayer online games based on comic superheroes like Iron Man, Wolverine and Captain America.

Gazillion has assembled four development studios staffed with team members from Apple, Blizzard, Microsoft Game Studios and Pixar.

First in the basket will be "Super Hero Squad," a casual multiplayer title aimed at younger audiences. Next up will be "Marvel Universe," a multiplayer online game for PC and consoles.
