The new policy post on Microsoft’s page says that if your old Xbox breaks, they can’t fix it for you unless it’s still covered by the warranty.

Such a move might save Microsoft quite a bit of money, as we all know how well the original Xbox performed in the reliability department.

The company does however gladly offer programs to upgrade your Xbox to an Xbox 360 , and the original Xbox documentation, troubleshooting, how-tos and such are still available.
