DLC coming soon for Left 4 Dead
Before Christmas announcement was postponed
News reaches us that the elves at Valve have been hard at work on additional downloadable content for the hit title, Left 4 Dead, on both the PC and Xbox 360. According to our sources we have confirmed that Valve had planned to announce the new download content before the Christmas holiday, but the press release announcement was postponed for some unknown reason.
The new download content is said to include both new maps to play on, as well as new weapons to take on the undead with. The exact nature of these new additions is still under wraps at this time.
Unlike previous releases of downloadable content on the PC and Xbox 360 platform, Valve is trying to make the release of the new downloadable content to appear on the PC and Xbox 360 platforms at the same time.
As you have likely guessed, the PC content will arrive via a Steam download, while the Xbox 360 content will come via the Xbox Live Market Place. We have not been able to confirm for sure that the new downloadable content will require a purchase, but we suspect that this will be the case.
