We’ve already written about Capcom’s (unjust) decision to launch the Resident Evil 5 demo in Japan only, but since then we’ve seen numerous recipes on getting your hands on this demo.

We’re not sure if Capcom reacted to this or planned it from the start, but Joystiq.com reports that the company announced the U.S. demo for sometime in early 2009.

Well, it was about time, as there’s been a lot of interest in this game, and it would be a pity for the rest of the world not to get a taste. We’ve also heard rumors of a possible PS3 demo, but we can’t confirm this as of yet.
