After PC version of Age of Conan: Hiborian Adventures launched, it managed to attract quite a fanbase. Shortly after that, Funcom announced that the game will be ported to Xbox 360 consoles and vaguely scheduled it for 2009.
So, recent layoffs within Funcom have given way to rumors about whether we’ll be seeing Xbox 360 version at all.
In a mail interview with MTV Multiplayer, product manager Erling Ellingsen said how the recent layoffs have nothing to do with Xbox 360 version and that the game is still being developed. Unfortunately, he didn’t even hint at the launchdate, so we’ll have to wait a bit more.
