Bethesda announced that Fallout 3 is selling like hot cakes and that the company shipped 4.7 million Xbox 360, PS3 and PC copies last week. In retail sales, that would account for more than $300 million.
The game’s rapid sales made Fallout 3 a number one ranked game in the U.K. on all three platforms, and it seems it doesn’t plan on stopping. The game will hit Japanese stores on December 4th, and it’s expected that it will be equally popular.
The game ships in two versions: regular and collector’s edition, of which both are apparently selling very well.
