FarCry 2 got a v1.01 patch, and it fixes quite a couple of multiplayer and single-player issues.
Random crashes when joining a multiplayer game were fixed as well as the bug where players got stuck and couldn't be killed, which occurred if you pressed interaction key when being wounded and rescued by your teammates.
Single-player also got plenty fixes and there's some general fixes and improvements too, such as the added CPU Intensive benchmark run and fixed random crashes on ESC-canceling Benchmark test.
The patch is 42.30 MB in size; you can download it here and check out the full list of fixes and improvements if you wish.
