The Wall Street Journal reports that Microsoft will slash prices on their mid-range Pro unit. As of Sunday, this unit should instead of $349 cost $299, which is a $50 cut.
WSJ cites anonymous sources, but this information is probably not speculation. At least it wouldn’t come as a surprise, since we know that XboX 360 is not faring as well as its competitors PS3 and Wii, so it’s expected from Microsoft to do something about it.
There’s still no word about other models, but they’ll probably also drop at a later date.
