Yesterday, Nintendo launched Wiiware, a collection of downloadable games for its popular Wii console, available through the WiiShop service.

In the first wave there are six games: Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, LostWinds, TV Show King, V.I.P. Casino Blackjack, Defend Your Castle and Pop.

Some of these games are just simple brain-teasers, whereas others will prove to be more complicated. However, you can always count on Nintendo to bring top-notch fun, and although the games might not feature breathtaking graphics and mind-blowing sound effects – that won't stop you from gluing your face to your TV.
