Head of Sony gaming leaving
After 15-year stint
Sony has announced that the President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios will resign on February 29th and leave Sony Corporation. Phil Harrison spent 15 years as President and is being replaced by Kazuo Hirai, Chief Executive of Sony's Game Operations, Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE).
Sony has seen its PlayStation 3 gaming console drop far behind Nintendo’s wildly popular Wii console and has been unable to keep pace with the number of new game titles being released for the Wii and the PC.
