WarCry Network reports that P2 Entertainment (formerly known as Perpetual Entertainment) has put Star Trek Online, their newest MMORPG planned for 2009, on hold. The reason is still unknown, and P2 Entertainment will go back to their casual gaming titles. Maybe this was just too much for them...

The license has been sold to an unknown developer, so Star Trek Online still might see the light of day, only this time the release date will be pushed back. The reason is simply that the new developer will have to start from scratch.
