Last week we wrote about a ridiculous ban on Microsoft's game, Mass Effect, which was banned by Singapore authorities for containing a scene in which a woman kisses a female alien. You can read more about it here.

The city state changed its decision, opting instead for a mature classification and making the game available to persons over 18. This is the first time Singapore has used its new content classification system and Mass Effect is the first game to receive the M18 designation.

Developers: kissing is bad, and we wouldn't want our kids to go out and kiss aliens now, would we? Just let the them kill the aliens, as usual. That is the way we do things on this planet, it's tradition and Singapore's Media Development Authority won't mind.
