Army of Two delayed until 2008
EA says it is not ready for release yet
Electronic Arts announced that it will delay the release of "Army of Two" military combat game until early next year. The game, in which players play as one of a pair of mercenaries carrying out missions, was originally slated to be released on November 13th for the Xbox 360 and the PS3.
EA indicated that the game needs more polish before it can be released, as they feel it has the potential to become a lasting EA franchise. It has been predicted that the game could net EA $54 million in revenue in EA's fiscal third quarter and earn it $1.6 billion.
