We had a chance to see an ulocked Nintendo Wii hidden in the Bosnian wilds. We can confirm that a tiny chip, the size of half a nail on a small PCB can unlock the console for copied games.

It is not something that you want to do every day but with a few screws off and some soldering you will be able to download and play all the games that are floating in the internet.

We’ve seen at least a few games available for these cracked consoles. The most important is that it works well, and after cracking you just insert the game and it works like any normal game that you purchased officially.
