North American stores has got their hands on Sierra's and Massive Entertainment's most anticipated RTS game, World in Conflict. A picture of the box which shows the game's system requirements has appeared on the net.
The game is available for $49.99 in standard edition and for $59.99 for the Collector's Edition. Like we wrote earlier, the Collector's Edition features an unique thing, a real "brick" from the Berlin Wall. We saw the multiplayer demo at the Games Convention 07 and it looked great.
The good news is that we now have the final system requirements. We knew that the minimum requirements needed was a DirectX 9.0c graphics card with 128MB, but now they've added "DX9 minimum card NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT and above".
The recommended requirements have changed from 256MB DirectX 9.0c to "DX9 graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 7600GT and above". The DirectX 10 recommendation shows minimum Geforce 8500 GT and recommended Geforce 8600GT.
The entire graphics card system requierments are based on Nvidia. There is no surprise here, as we knew that the game is a TWIMTBP title.
Looks like Europe will have to wait a bit for this game. We were able to find just two shops that had World in Conflict in stock, and it cost a bit more then we expected, €54,90 or £25.99 if you live in the UK and order from Play.com, but the RRP is £39.99. We used our favorite Geizhals.at price search site.
