Microsoft's customers service department has been reviving broken Xbox360s by installing heat sinks.

According to MacWorld owners who have seen the "three lights of death"
appearing on their console have been wondering what Microsoft has been doing to get them running again.

MacWorld claims that many have opened the top and found a new heatsink installed. Official policy is that Microsoft will only install the second heatsink if the console dies.
