Microsoft is certainly working its "magic" in order to sell its upcoming sequel of Halo. Halo 3 will get a new range of accessories and they can be preordered as we speak. The accessories we are talking about are two differently painted controllers and a Halo 3 branded wireless headset.
Since Microsoft confirmed that the new accessories are going be available before Halo 3's launch, some sites expects the launch of these accessories to be September 4. The controllers are, "Designed with original artwork by legendary Spawn artist Todd McFarlane, they will be available in either the Covenant Brute or Master Chief themes", and each controller will come with a "limited edition Halo 3 collectible figurine". Microsoft has also confirmed the "Spartan green and gold" wireless headset.
You can expect to pay $59.99 for each accessory, which is a good price since it is the same price you have to pay for the ordinary wireless headset, and just a little bit more than what you have to pay for Microsoft's standard Xbox 360 controller.
