After a rough start of Playstation 3, things are still not looking bright. A few days ago, Eidos announced that it will put all its games for Sony's beast on hold till the fiscal year 2008. We are not sure, but maybe now is the right time for Sony to shout "Houston, we have a problem".
Sony needs to sell a lot of consoles to create a big market for big publishers to sell its games. This is how the game works. Managers at Eidos are concerned that there won't be enough Playstation 3 consoles around.
We know
that Eidos is not the biggest player, and not all of its games are smashing hits, but this
doesn't sound too good. We hope others will not follow this example and postpone the Playstation 3 games.
