ASRock releases Windows 8 based Motherboards
Claims it is the first AMD board to get certification
ASRock has announced that its A55M-DGS mainboard has passed the Windows 8 logo submission making it the first AMD motherboard to get Microsoft approval.
The company apparently hopes that it can make a buck or two amont those who want to be early adopters for Windows 8, or guinea pigs as other people call them.
ASRock are doing their best to make a mark on motherboard scene, and it is clear that they are dead keen to elbow their way into the front. The boards have been about for a while but it is interesting that they cleared the certification process before bigger names.
