AMD has its demo of the RS780 chipset, its first DirectX 10 chipset powered with RV620, 55nanometer DirectX10.1 part, and the Hybrid Crossfire is up and running.
It should launch in Q1 and this is the live demo of the reference board. We’ve learned that RS780 should be a very fast DirectX10 chipset, and that in combination with the Radeon 3450 series RV620 powered graphic, you should be able to get a decent frame rate even with Call of Duty 4 and Crysis at lower resolutions.
At the same time, this is the first time we’ve seen ATI’s DisplayPort enabled graphics.
