Skulltrail ships with two SLI bridges
One seriously long ribbon cable
Some pictures have appeared online of what looks like the reviewer's kit of Intel's Skulltrail board, and although this might not be that exciting in itself apart from the fact that we might be seeing some reviews soon, the supplied SLI ribbon cable is what sets it apart.
If you take a look at the pictures you'll notice that it looks as if the supplied ribbon cable is meant to stretch halfway across the board, which makes us curious about how Intel has implemented SLI on this board. It could well be for 3-way SLI usage, but it appears that it wouldn't have a problem streching from the first to the last x16 slot on the board.
However, we know Nvidia didn't go for the flexible SLI cable approach in the early days of SLI, as there were signalling issues, so one has to wonder how well a long cable like this will work.
