During a recent visit to abit we found out some more details about its upcoming MCP78S board, which will go under the name of A-N78HD. It will also be available in a model missing the D in the model name and both boards should appear some time in Q1.

The mATX board will feature AM2+ support, four DIMM slots for DDR2 memory up to 1,066MHz, a single x16 PCIe 2.0 slot, one PCIe x1 slot and two PCI slots, six SATA and one IDE connector, HDMI, D-sub, Gigabit Ethernet, 12 USB ports, 7.1-channel sound and FireWire. The A-N78H doesn't have FireWire and it appears to be featuring DVI instead of HDMI.

The chipset should be the first to feature Nvidia's next generation integrated graphics which will go under the GeForce 8-series brand and it will support Hybrid SLI.

Sadly, we didn't get a picture of this board.
