A quite well known motherboard manufacturer is closing its European office after years of good operation. The new CEO of the company made a few bad moves that caused total failure in the European market.
First the boss decided to move Epox away from the "expensive" and high quality board market and then he decided to start making cheaper boards with cheap capacitors.
This lead to a few capacitor scandals and quite a few RMAs. After that he decided to return to the high end board production, but people had already lost trust in high-end Epox motherboards and the sales channel was already destroyed.
It was too late to repair the damage and Epox is shutting down its European office in a few days.
