Intel still has a lot of 965 chipsets in the wild and they
are the key reason why it still didn’t announce its P35 chipset.
Intel is changing the strategies and it doesn’t want to end
up with a lot of chipsets it can't sell. The final P35 boards are done in late
April. There will be some bios updates before the launch as we mentioned
the other day here.
There will be some boards supporting DDR2 and some will
support DDR3, it all depends on the manufacturer.
Can this one beat Nvidia's
680i chipset? We will see soon.
Of course, this chipset works with Intel's CPUs only.
