This is one great price for a machine with a processor that can jump as high as 2.2GHz and has 4.5W TDP. One of the neat features of this notebook is that it comes with an additional M.2 PCIe slot, so you can upgrade your storage in a matter of minutes. The notebook is 12.9 mm thin and competes with some industry heavyweights including the Macbook 12 and the Dell XPS 13 but, of course, it sells for much less.

The Xiaomi Notebook 12 acts and looks like a big player, and it offers at least a few unique features, such as upgradable storage and HDMI port, a small footprint and a backside without any logo. It currently sells for US $579.99. SInce the sale will end in a few days, after that point you will be able to use the "Miair12" code and get the price down to the $579.99. We will tell you much more very soon as we are in the middle of testing it. We can only say that we were positively surprised with many aspects of this products. Xiaomi got things right.

The larger version of the notebook has 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, Core i5-6500 processor and the Geforce 940 GPU. Xiaomi notebook 13 is still really light at 1.28KG and it packs a full HD display in 13.3-inch form factor. At 14.8 mm, it is thinner than the Macbook Air 13 (17mm) and has an 11 percent smaller body. It is of course dramatically cheaper and it will run Windows 10 just fine.
