The iPad Jumbo with the 12.9 inch Retina display is on track for release in early 2014, but as is any potential release from Apple, that is always subject to change. While it seems that everyone we talk to is calling it the iPad Jumbo, but apparently it is rumored that Apple will actually call it the iPad Pro and the tablet will be targeted at professional audience that wants a larger screen and wants to use it for work applications or a notebook replacement.
It is expected to use a different adapter for charging, but the battery life is said to be with-in the range of the regular iPad. While it will not be cheap, it is also expected that it will be delivered in only a choice of 32GB/64GB/128GB configurations due to the target audience. It is also expected to Apple’s latest processor that offers 64bit application support.
