The tablet is powered by a quad-core Bay Trail-T chip and it features an impressive 2560x1440 10-inch screen. It weighs 611g and Anandtech reports it’s no thicker than a current generation iPad.
Sounds good, and it gets better. Since it’s powered by an x86 chip, it can run both Windows 8 and Android 4.2.2. There is still no word on the exact spec, but it appears to feature a couple of mini display outs and USB 3.0.
Pricing is the key issue. Although Intel likes to talk about cheap upcoming Windows 8 tablets, they have yet to materialize. On the other hand the hardware looks pretty good and a high-res screen is not something we see in Windows tablets every day.
