Lenovo is reportedly preparing to roll out its first ultrabook within weeks. The outfit is also preparing a 7-inch Android tablet, just in time for nobody to care about it.

According to CNET, Lenovo’s first ultrabook, dubbed IdeaPad U300, is a sleek 0.8-inch design and it should match the MacBook Air form factor. The U300 appeared in a blurry Computex video earlier this year and it’s a 13-incher, weighing about 3 pounds.

Lenovo also managed to keep the price in check. CNET reports that the cheapest models will cost less than $1,000. Acer is planning to introduce entry level ultrabooks at $799, so it is safe to assume that vendors will try to offer similar products in the $800-$900 price range.
