Sources close to the AT&T wireless empire claim that a leaked document confirms that AT&T is actually closer to testing a new Apple iPad that will offer 4G LTE support. The document floating around says that AT&T is expecting the LTE version of the iPad for testing sometime during the months of November and December.

Prediction of a 4G LTE iPad is nothing new; but if this latest news is true, then the iPad with 4G LTE is more likely to arrive in 2012 than in time for the 2011 holidays, as many have speculated. This does seem to reinforce the rumors that the 3rd generation iPad will not arrive till 2012.
