According to the info from Spanish Engadget, Acer's eye-catching Iconia dual-screen notebook should appear in retail/e-tail on January 28th, at least in Spain. If the info is right, the price tag should be set at heart-stopping €1,499. The price sound a bit steep but we guess that's what you get when asking for two multi-touch 14-inch screens.

In case you somehow managed to miss this one, the Acer Iconia is a 14-inch dual multi-touch screen notebook powered by Intel's Core i5 CPU and paired up with up to 4GB of memory, 750GB of HDD space. 

The European prices, and those in the "land of the free" are hardly comparable, but just for the sake of argument, the €1,499 rouglhy converts to about US $1,987.
