MSI launches its CR630 notebook
AMD Danube platform
MSI has updated its Classic notebook series with the CR630 model based on AMD's Danube platform. Following in the footsteps of its predecessors, you can expect the CR630 to feature the same simple design, a rather modest pricetag and a wide choice of Athlon II CPUs paired up with ATI Radeon graphics.
MSI detailed few of the general specifications, while the rest will depend on the SKU, but you can expect it to feature one of the Athlon II dual-core CPUs, RS880+SB820M chipset, ATI Radeon HD 4270 graphics with shared memory, DDR3 1066MHz memory in two slots, 15.6-inch 1366x768 LED screen up to 500GB of SATA HDD, 6-cell battery, 802.11bng WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI, D-Sub, USB and eSATA ports, and 1.3M web cam.
All of these specs will be packed in a notebook with 374 x 247.5 x 35 mm dimensions with a Starlight design color film prin technology on the lid and wristrest for aditional classy touch. The notebook weighs at less than 2.5kg, presumably with the 6-cell battery.
Unfortunately, as always, MSI didn't shed any light on the price or the availability date.
