CES 2010: If Apple is doing it, it has to be cool
Nvidia, Intel, MSI, and probably a dozen other companies are showing tablet PCs of all shapes and sizes, something that Apple made fashionable without even launching its own tablet.
Nvidia and Intel showed prototypes of something that their partners might make into the product one day, while MSI and a few other companies have the real thing.
Intel showed a device called Hanvon as well as Viliv and Archos devices, but we don’t have many details about them.
Nvidia’s prototype naturally has a Tegra inside, and according to a senior Tegra manager, the device is “a bigger version of Zune HD” and offers similar functionality. We can bet that we will see some of Nvidia’s partners making a similar device.
