Zotac representatives at Cebit have told us that they are planning
to launch an Ion desktop platform powered by an Atom N330. However, we also
heard that the company most probably won't be the first one to have an Ion based product on the market.
Everyone who is interested in Ion is waiting to see what will happen with some big names,
who should be launching Nvidia's Ion platform shortly, and if goes well, some smaller companies
will get on board soon after.
Zotac showcased the product, whioch looks like Nvidia's white
designed machine, but pricing and availability were not discussed. These decisions
have yet to be made and this will depend on the developments on the market.
Zotac is being very Nvidia centered, and such a product might
actually work quite well for them.
