Asus shows off Eee Tablet
2450 dpi input sensitivity
In addition to the Eee Pad, Asus has also shown its Eee Tablet, a backlight-less 8-inch TFT-LCD based e-reader/sketchbook tablet. The Eee Pad should launch sometime in September with a price tag of somewhere between US $200 and $300.
The 8-inch 1024x768 touchscreen has a rather interesting 2,450 dpi input sensitivity, which means that it might end up to be as responsive as writing on paper, something that we will believe once we see it. The rest of the features include microSD card slot and a 2 megapixel webcam. The battery life is rumoured at around 10 hours, at least according to Asus.
