Following its fridge magnet Vega tablet, ICD has announced a somewhat more interesting and much more compact Tegra tablet.

The ICD Ultra is a 7-inch tablet based on Nvidia's Tegra T20 chipset. It packs 512MB of DDR, 512MB of NAND, a non removable 4GB SD card and an extra microSD slot for expansion.



On the fun side, it offers a 1.3MP webcam, FM radio, HDMI, 3.5mm audio jack and an accelerometer. Connectivity is excellent, as the Ultra features 3G, 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth 2.1. It runs Android 2.0 Eclair and at 186 x 158 x 18mm it is rather compact.

Oddly, ICD will offer several screen choices on the Ultra. Users will be able to opt for 800x480 or 1024x600 in capacitive or resistive flavours. Sadly, we still don't know anything about the price.
