As promised to us a while back, Point of View has switched its Mobii lineup to Windows 7 Starter edition operating system and the best part of the deal is that the price remained the same for both Mobii and Mobii ION mini.

Alternate.de has apparently scored the first batch of these units, and both Mobii and Mobii ION mini are listed and should be available shortly. The specs remained the same, so you are looking at Intel's Atom N270, 1GB of memory for Mobii and Atom N230, 1GB of memory and ION graphics for Mobii ION mini.

The best part of the deal is that the price remained the same, as Mobii is selling for €339 while Mobii ION mini is selling at €399. The older Mobii has dropped to €294 (for the black version) while Mobii ION mini with Windows XP has dropped to €339 which is kinda nice, but Windows 7 certainly sounds better, as we already tried it in our Mobii ION mini review.
