Acer's smallest CULV-based notebook has sprung up at a German e-tailer, and at €499 with Vista Home Premium it's a decent deal.

Weighing in at a mere 1.4kg, the 11.6-inch 1810T is basically an Aspire One 751 with a CULV powerplant instead of the Atom Z520.  Basically, the extra €100 buys you a SU3500 at 1.4GHz, 2GB of memory and a 250GB hard drive. You also get HDMI and draft-n wireless, which is more or less standard in the class.

Both in terms of size and pricing, this is dangerously close to many high end netbooks. Frankly, it's seems quite a bit better than any netbook out there, as you get a proper, Vista capable machine with a 1366x768 screen, plenty of storage and a fair bit of RAM.

The only trouble is, Acer is also selling a Linux version of its 13-inch Travelmate 8371 at the exact same price.
