HP is recalling 70,000 netbook batteries over fears they could pose a fire hazard.

So far there have been two incidents of batteries bursting into flames and causing minor damage. No injuries have been reported, and HP wants too keep it that way.

The affected battery packs were produced between August 2007 and January 2008, and were used in numerous HP notebooks.
