According to a report on Digitimes, Asus is set to launch three ultra thin notebook models at Computex, alongside the new slimmer Eee PC 1008HA Shell which was revealed earlier this year at CeBIT.

There isn't much know about the new notebooks, but they're expected to be based on the Intel ULVPC platform. The model names are the UX, U and Edge series. The UX is said to be targeting the high-end market, while the U is a mid-range model and finally the Edge being a budget model.

We gave a feeling that Asus will be doing something similar to what MSI did with its X320 and X340 with the Edge and Eee PC 1008HA Shell, as judging by the pictures of the Shell, there's space in the screen bezel for at least an 11.6-inch display.

For now we're just going to have to bide our time and wait and see what Asus has to deliver in just over a month's time when Computex kicks off in Taiwan.
