Nikon has joined the 18x zoom club with its new 10.1 megapixel Coolpix P80.

The P80 packs a 27-486mm wide angle Nikkor lens and features CCD shift image stabilization. ISO sensitivity up to 6400 is supported, in macro mode you can shoot away at just 1cm and you should have no trouble with the spacious 2.7" screen. On the fun side, it also has a time lapse video mode.



It features a rather conservative, SLR-like design like most ultra-zoom cameras. The P80 will be available in retail as of April 25th at €448.
