The worlds
first quad mode tuner has been launched by Hauppage on Cebit, and we got one of the samples for a review.
For those
who don't know, quad mode means that this card is able to receive analogue cable TV, Freeview digital terrestrial DVB-T, digital satellite
DVB-S and High Definition digital DVB-S2, and even record these signals. This means you can watch DVB-S2 high definition satellite
TV and record movies in full H.264.
The card should be available
at midle of March at spicy price of £179. We will tell you all about the card in a review.
