In the following months, Cooler Master plans to launch a couple of new coolers that’ll probably be strong competitors to AC’s Freezer. We’re talking about Hyper Z600 and V8 models.
Hyper Z600 is designed for Intel Core 2 (Extreme, Quad and Duo) and AMD’s Phenom, Athlon and Sempron processors.
They offer three options:
- Passive, the quietest ones
- Optional fan for better cooling
- Optional two fans for best performance
The cooler base is made of copper, and heat is transferred via six heatpipes. It weighs 1045 grams and should hit the shelves by the end of April. It will be priced around €50.
V8 is not only named after an engine - it looks like one, too. This cooler is also a combination of passive and active cooling. The base is made of copper and it packs eight heatpipes and one 120mm fan spinning at 2000 RPM. It’s a quiet cooler and runs at 19dBA.
V8 should hit the shelves in late June and will be priced around €50.
