We have confirmed that Intel is going to do switchable graphics where you will have an IGP core working in a battery mode and mobile discrete graphic to jump in when you plug your notebook into the wall.

This is what AMD plans to do with Puma, and obviously Intel won't miss this opportunity. In Intel's case they won't be able to mix athe performance of IGP and Hybrid, but they will be able to switch off the MXM mobile card and save power.

With a Centrino powered notebook it really makes sense.
