According to The New York Times, the Problem With Jon Stewart was booked for a third season at Apple TV+ and set to begin filming for another eight episodes within the next couple of weeks.
However, Times said that Apple and Stewart decided to part ways before it can start because the parties didn't see eye to eye when it came to what Jobs Mob thinks are hot-button topics.
The host told production staff that Apple executives had raised concerns about subjects he's potentially covering in the show, particularly China and artificial intelligence.
Apple executives “talked” to Stewart about the need to be "aligned" when it comes to show topics and the success of Apple’s business. They then threatened to cancel the show unless he did what he was told.
Steward chose to walk away instead.
