Starfield is one of the biggest game launches of this year and Chipzilla has been trying to issue graphics drivers to make it work on its Arc GPU -- without much luck.

Reddit user GeneralAkAbA, contacted Bethesda for assistance found that the official line at at Bethesda is that the Arc A770 GPU does not satisfy the minimum specifications for Starfield, which call for an AMD Radeon RX 5700 or pr Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti.

This is somewhat surprising as the Arc A770 GPU should outperform those cards with one arm tied behind its back. Some on Reddit think that Bethesda's answer shows a lack of thorough instruction on how to fix or optimise the game for hardware and that users will have to wait for Intel to come up with an idea. However the fact the Arc can't make the minimim spec suggests that there might be something else going on under the bonnet.
