In spite of HD DVD advocates boasting their lead and good sales results mere days ago, here, Toshiba is cutting it's sales estimates in the face of lackluster sales.
The estimate for 2007 has been lowered from 1.8 million to just 1 million, it seems the $100 lower player price didn't help much.
"Sales in the U.S. have been slower than expected, and we
are going to have to lower our U.S. sales forecast," said Yoshihide Fujii, Toshiba's consumer business boss.
