1440p, 144Hz monitor with RGB lighting

Gigabyte has recently teased a rather interesting Aorus gaming monitor at a couple of its social media accounts and it did not take long before it was detailed as the Aorus AD27QD, a 27-inch 1440p monitor that will have some unique features.

While it was originally teased over at Gigabyte's Aorus UK Twitter account, a Reddit user has revealed a bit more information, suggesting that it could be the Aorus AD27QD RGB FreeSync gaming display, with a 27-inch 1440p resolution panel, RGB lighting, 144Hz refresh rate and support for Freesync.

Some sources also suggest it comes with a 10-bit IPS panel, while some that it is Quantum Dot screen, which is possible due to the QD suffix in the name.

In any case, it will be interesting to see what kind of monitor will Gigabyte unveil and the official date is set for January 16th, 2019.
